About the Lecturer:
Steve Lynn is Louise Fry Scudder Professor and Chair of the English
Department at the University of South Carolina. His research interests
include eighteenth-century literature (especially Samuel Johnson), the
teaching of writing (especially writing about literature), and science
fiction (especially nanotechnology and bioethics). Lynn has written two Pearson Longman textbooks: Texts & Contexts, now in its fourth edition, and Literature: Reading and Writing with Critical Strategies.
